Honduras Mission Trip 2026

Our Mission

Our mission is to show the love of Christ by meeting the medical and community needs of the families of San Francisco, Orica, Honduras. To learn more about our mission, click here.

Health for Honduras is a medical and community outreach mission of First Presbyterian Church of Burlingame that supports the New Hope Clinic located in San Francisco, Municipality of Orica, Honduras. The Clinic was created to answer the acute medical and dental needs of the people in this rural municipality. Run by Dr. Cesar Davila, MD and MPH, the clinic serves 52 remote villages. As the community ties grew year over year, the outreach of the clinic began to include public health education and community outreach. Beginning 2007 through 2020, the Health for Honduras’ teams of volunteers have traveled to Honduras to assist Dr. Davila in expanding the reach of the clinic, principally by conducting health fairs and triage in many of the dispersed villages. Our group also raises funds for clinic buildings, medical supplies and salaries, and scholarship funds for Health for Honduras volunteers.

The next trip is January 2026! Stay tuned for more info!

This is the organization we work through in Honduras.
